Licenses and Permits
Through the City Clerk’s office, the Administration
Department issues licenses and permits for various activities and
operations in the community. The City’s Licensing Clerk issues licenses
for refuse hauling, food preparation, tobacco sales, liquor sales
(intoxicating on-sale liquor, wine, 3.2 on-sale, 3.2 off-sale, club
on-sale and Sunday on-sale), lodging and massage locations. In addition,
the Clerk issues permits for underground residential parking garages,
parking ramps, vending machines, amusement devices and swimming pools.
Charitable gambling is licensed by the State of Minnesota, but the City
provides registration.
