Foss Gallery
The Margaret Foss Gallery occupies the living room and dining room of the original Miller
house that became the Edina Art Center. A donation was made in memory of
artist Margaret Foss to convert the space for use as a gallery. In 1998, it
was upgraded with the addition of the “Great Hall” and an entryway from the
gift shop. Carpeting was put up on the walls to better show artwork.
Exhibitions regularly held in the space
include a Faculty Exhibition, Student Show and annual Members' Juried Art
Exhibition. In addition, there are two to four other shows. In November and
December, the gallery becomes an extension of the Clark Gift Shop for the
Art Center’s annual fine arts and crafts sale, which features the work of
many regional artists.
