Spring Garden Show

Donna Getsinger's Green GardenSandra Shaughnessy's potsSee stunning creations ranging from unique pottery and sculptures to two-dimensional botanical art at the Edina Art Center’s sixth-annual Garden Show and Sale.

The show opens at the Edina Art Center, 4701 W. 64th St., on April 3 and continues through May 30. A special May Day reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. Spectacular fountains that will fill your garden with the soothing sounds of running water, sculpted clay or metal yard ornaments, pottery, vases, tiles and botanical paintings -- all created by Art Center faculty and students -- are just a few examples of the artwork that will be on display and available for purchase. Antiques of Shady Oak in Hopkins will also be on hand, sharing some of their unique pieces. The show will operate during regular Art Center hours. Welcome spring with a new piece of garden art, or just stop by to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The Edina Art Center is located west of the Edina Aquatic Center in Rosland Park, one mile west of Southdale Center. It is open 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
